It’s really strange how so many of us Internet Marketers buy into all sorts of tools and services that we never get round to using properly.

I subscribed to Leadsleap when it first appeared on the scene earlier this year. Because of the number of different schemes I have used to promote PROSPERIZER, my primary online business, I kind of forgot about Leadsleap. In my absent mindedness, LeadsLeap continued to grow and its active members have been generating very focussed leads and increased turnover. The turning point for me, was when I started looking at the relative costs of the Pro membership compared with the classic PPC system on Google. For that reason alone, if you are working in the “Making Money Online” niche you have a highly targeted audience for your ads in this enormous market. As a pro you are able to have your PPC style advert displayed on LeadsLeaps viral blog for what amounts to something approaching just 6 cents a click. And remember, the readers are your target audience! Well worth a try.

The blog posts themselves are a classic series of tips, how tos and explanations of the basic nitty-gritty knowledge we need and the “arcania” of this marketing world. The information is not in itself highly original or innovative, BUT it is presented in a very simple clear cut manner that beginners can learn from and which clarifies the concepts for us overloaded and confused post-beginners.

These posts are produced by Kenneth Koh who is a bit of a rising star. This is one system where your inbox is NOT buried under the deluge of marketing emails, so many systems produce. Herein lies one of its magical elements. I have included an extract from the latest post below, to give you a flavour of the material. Here Kenneth is trying to encourage you to look behind the “Hoo Hah” publicity that many gurus present about themselves. It’s all too easy to be sucked in by the publicity if you don’t choose a product line that fits your psyche. The full post can be found on the LeadsLeap blog itself!

Here’s what Kenneth has to say about gurus:

How To Come Out With Innovative Ideas That Sell

I’m quite sure that you have constantly been bombarded with offers from different internet marketing gurus asking you to buy their products or other guru’s products.

The problem is, every product looks good. Even if you have money to buy all of them, you wouldn’t have the time to study them!

The secret, my friend, is to be selective in which guru you listen to.

Let me share with you a little experience of mine:

Some time ago, someone called me on my mobile phone asking if I was interested in making an extra $50,000
Well, I bothered to answer that call because she was calling from an internet marketing guru’s office. She went on to sell me a coaching program from another guru, whom I have not heard before, in a tactful and professional way and frankly, I was impressed.

Before deciding on whether to buy the coaching program, the first thing I did was to Google for the name of this guru and find out how he makes money.

Based on my research, this guru is a national speaker in the self-help industry. He has written many books and been featured in the national TVs. (I don’t know him because I live in Singapore, not US.)

If you remove all the bells and whistles, this guru basically makes money conducting seminars and coaching programs teaching people how to be successful.

I have no intention to become a speaker, nor am I interested to start any coaching program. So whatever experience that this guru is irrelevant to me.

What I’m try to tell you is don’t blindly listen to a guru simply because he is famous. Look behind the scene and find out what he does for living.

If what the guru does is what you envision to do, by all means, listen to everything he says. Or else, that guru is NOT your guru.

Get what I mean?

Let me give you another example. continued on the LeadsLeap blog.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prosperizer is beginning to take off BIG STYLE. This is mainly due to the efforts of our dedicated back room team of Simon Tofield, Paul Ward and a cast of dozens. Last week, on the back of the success of the Winners of Wealth; system they launched a whole range of new products which I detail below. The simplest way is just to include Paul’s over excited newsletter (typos and all!!) I’ve just tidied up the links so you can see our information more easily. I’ve been a bit remiss in my own marketing and educational efforts this week as I have been full on, developing a virtual tour for some friends and their hotel. I’ve nearly cracked it!!
Here’s Paul’s email:
I’m not really a gambling man, BUT the tips that come up every day from Prosperizer’s Winners of Wealth Tipster service, seem to be as close to reliable as you can get. This review is only based on a modest week’s activity. I have placed 3 bets and tried to learn a little bit about how this black hat world of horse racing works. Strangely, the 3 tips I followed all won. No spectacular wins, just good solid steady increase in my bank.
So based on my first week’s experience, Winners of Wealth seems to have a pretty sound background. Do I now have to own up to the gambler’s disease of thinking the winning streak is unstoppable? Certainly not! Horse racing is a chancy business and very FEW people make big bucks on their flutters. However, this first week has caught my interest and I will be trying out the service until my initial payin to the bank is frittered away … or not, as the case may be. WOW seems to be on track to providing seriously researched horse racing advice, which is capable of growing your initial stake money. Join the club and you can also earn commissions from anyone you introduce to the system. Good luck; but don’t forget the health warning that has to go with any gambling activity. Always gamble responsibly!
After having used and struggled with the black art of Keyword research for the past 8 months I finally remembered that little acronym KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid!
Nichebot isn’t simple by any stretch of the imagination, but like so many high order skills, learning it should be. Only now have I started dipping into the masses of tutorial video and audio help that is available in this awesome tool. I have used the Google Keyword Tool, Word Tracker, Overture (now well and truly moribund); even the Daddy keyword tool, coughing up a pile of cash for each of the
paid options. Has my cash been well spent? Nope! But I think finally, part of it is about to be! The Google and Nichebot combination are the way to go as far as I am concerned.
Like so many people; when I look back over the last several months, I realise I have been guilty of un-focussed dabbling. Too many projects on the go at once and too many techniques being tried out all at one go. Sum result? Frustration! Only now, having given myself a good old fashioned kick up the arse (sealed with a KISS), is the keyword nightmare beginning to melt and some understanding dawn.
All the systems and tools mentioned above are actually very good, but what most people don’t grasp for a long time is that they only (with the exception of Google Keyword Tool) represent a tiny fraction of the search traffic of the web. All of them, even with Google’s new inclusion of the search volume data, only give a flavour of the numbers of searches being conducted worldwide. The other side of the research coin is that most of us have been doing the researcgh process in a perversely back to front manner.
How often have you started to research a niche and shied away from the obvious highly competed niche keywords. Doh! that’s where the traffic and the money are likely to be found, isn’t it? Well, I have just recovered from a failed little enterprise where I attempted to promote an excellent guide to marketing your photography, a guide produced by photographer Dan Eitreim and marketed in Clickbank. I faithfully tracked down the low competition keywords, optimised my landing page and wrote the best set of ads yet. Sadly there wasn’t much traffic on those keywords, either on the search network or the content partners. So I managed to make exactly diddly squat! After pulling the plug on the campaign when the author restructured his own campaign and rendered my split-test landing pages, ads and keywords inaccurate at the press of his upload button; I had to analyse just what the cock-up was this time and I spent quite a bit of time going over the pattern of what little activity my work had attracted. It was only then that I began to realise my niche was a bit of a non event. Slowly, the necessary question began to crystallise in my mind … how should I go about RESEARCHING my MARKET NICHE????
The answer appeared, by surprise almost, while I was listening to 1 of Jim’s archived audio calls. To cut a long story short, I received a digital slap round the lugs and a penny dropped. I hadn’t done my market research with any rigour, before racing off to play with my expensive toolbox to find the “plum” keywords. My campaign was doomed before I had spent my first tenner! Suddenly here was Jim Morris telling me what to do and what to read BEFORE I started even thinking about keywords. Now the advice boiled down to a few very simple tips that I have heard before but never internalised. It was all about discovering the real potential of a niche, to funnel cash in your direction and doing this rigorously: BEFORE looking into the minutiae of keywords and SEO.
Jim’s article 5 Free Powerful Ways to Conduct Online Consumer Market Research to Find a Profitable Niche that has nothing to do with Keyword Research can be found by clicking the link.
The 5 key steps boil down to:
1 Is there a PUBLISHED magazine … in the shops in the real world?
2 What is the hottest selling stuff on ebay?
3 What are the retail giants shifting? What’s HOT on Amazon?
4 Is Clickbank shifting stuff in your proposed niche?
5 What is the top selling product in the niche?
On competition, his advice is to embrace it and then do your own thing to stand out from the crowd. Read the article, it is a very informative 10 minute read.
So, follow this very successful marketer’s advice, check out the niche first; then harvest your keywords and finally; keep it simple stoopid, USE the INSTRUCTIONS with whatever tool or programme choice you make. I’ll see you on the successful side of the fence.
With another monster lottery payout approaching tomorrow, most people will spend their fiver and contentedly realise that the odds of actually scooping such an enormous pile of cash are astronomically stacked against them. The odds are so long that the draw has now rolled over 10 times: a fairly regular occurrence! Though you can shorten the odds by playing multiple entries in a syndicate; astronomical is still the description of choice!!
Greed apart, suddenly landing such an enormous pile of cash, will take a lot of careful thought in order for the winner to keep their feet on the ground and make GOOD decisions about how they handle their new found wealth. Despite the end of financial worries, it’s not a panacea. BUT I think we’d all prefer the problems of wealth as opposed to just above the subsistence level of our day job.
Am I saying don’t play? CERTAINLY NOT!!! You see there is a way of getting among the prizes regularly (don’t expect a jackpot every month though!). For the last 6 years Virtual World Direct has run a very sophisticated syndicate system in both the UK and the Euro draws. I won’t drone on about the way it works, but the eLottery system has some amazing extra benefits as well; not least of which is the potential to promote the system and end up playing your lottery entries for FREE - oh yes! For once the (potential) free entry is not just some pie in the sky BS. There is a system with a solid 6 year track record. One of the recent successes is copied from the eLottery news feed below.
Two Euro Syndicates Match 4+2 Lucky Stars
	The members of two e-lottery EuroMillions syndicates shared wins totalling £12,560.40 in Friday’s draw, by matching four of their common syndicate numbers plus, of course, their two guaranteed “Lucky Star” numbers.
The prize for matching “4 and 2 Stars” was £2,628.70 - the amount an individual playing normally would have won… but each of our winning syndicates won £6,280.20.
How did the e-lottery syndicates win almost THREE TIMES as much money as an individual matching the same amount of numbers?
Not only did our lucky syndicates match 4+2, don’t forget that because of the way our numbers are distributed, that means each syndicate also had FOURTEEN lines that matched 4+1 Lucky Star, as well as TWENTY-ONE lines that matched 4+0 Lucky Stars!
The prize for 4+1 was £165.40, and the prize for 4+0 was £77.90. Get your calculators out…
Yes, it all adds up. So by playing the Smarter Way, our 78 happy syndicate members gave themselves a much better chance… and pocketed £161 each - not bad. In fact, that’s enough to cover their e-lottery subscriptions until May 2009!
We don’t promise jackpots for every fiver, but if you want to play 2 of the biggest lotteries in the world, for goodness sake get a system that gets the odds down to something like sensible.
Good luck tomorrow!
As well as trying to get my Internet Marketing Career into orbit, I have been trying to get into the obscure world of panoramic photography for websites. For years I have been an obsessive snapper with delusions of artistry and a strong hankering to use my photographic skills to earn a crust, particularly in the mountain landscape arena. I don’t think Colin Prior needs to run for cover just yet!
A friend of mine who runs a web design business in Lancaster UK, is so busily successful that he had ended up with a pile of the latest panoramic photography kit lying around that he didn’t have time to get to grips with. Until … he heard I wasn’t doing too well on the selling front. Over the last few months I have tried to put in a fair bit of time to learn the ropes with a “proper” digital camera, fisheye lens, and a stack of rather specialised software.
Finally I am beginning to feel confident enough of my ability to get good results, that my mate Tom is setting up our virtual tour website and I’ve started contacting hotels, local to me in Carlisle, with a view to doing a few test runs for them - obviously at no cost, as I am experimenting on their premises.
Some of my early experiments can be seen at.
www.ipix-photos.co.uk
I have started a community website based on the Stanwix area of the city which has my first experiments with a large scale tour.
You can find Tom and his handiwork at Web Site Design UK.
As so often with these things, just as I begin to gain confidence it seems to go horribly wrong. My most recent shoot had very challenging lighting contrasts and is not going to cut the mustard. I’ll have to go back and re-shoot several views. Ho hum!
Did you have a look at the Euromillions tonight? If you had invested in the VWD eLottery syndicates you might have actually been in with an almost believable chance, comparison with the vast majority of people who just go it alone.
That’s all for now, sleep is calling.
You probably know how hard it is to nail a big win in any of the major lotteries don’t you? The numbers are stacked incredibly high against you pulling in the big one yourself. For the UK lottery it’s about 14 million : 1 whereas Euromillions has a staggering 76 million : 1 chance against any one ticket scooping the jackpot. It’s the one reason why people pool their resources and play in so many syndicates: at work; down the pub or however they get together. Most syndicates enjoy a significantly higher hit rate on the prizes, big and small, but they tend to be a pretty ad hoc collection of colleagues and friends getting together with no great thought about how they approach this statistical monster. Sadly there are still those who spend too much; often on their own, in the vain hope that This Week “It could be you-me-mine!”. You can’t look at the lottery as an investment.
Now this week the EuroMillions jackpot for Friday, 5th September, has rolled over for the sixth time, to an enormous estimated £92 million British Pounds Sterling - or €113,592,000 (over 113.5 million Euros)! That’s a staggering amount of cash for most of us mortals, with our feet still on planet Earth. But the odds are still that same 76 million:1 against YOUR ticket or MY ticket scooping the big prize. It sounds like I’m dead against the lottery, doesn’t it … BUT I’m NOT. If you are careful and sensible there is nothing wrong with a flutter. I’ve been luckier than most, picking up a 5 ball win about 5 years ago and several tenners along the way. And that was all before I discovered the SYSTEM for running an effective syndicate.
Anyone who even occasionally plays the lottery is not going to want to miss out on the chance to share such a huge prize, so despite my note of caution in the opening of this entry this is an…
URGENT MESSAGE…
Deadline Date:- Friday Sept 5th
Deadline Time:- 6pm British Summer Time (GMT+1)
Event:- Massive EuroMillions 6th-week rollover- estimated 92
million Jackpot
Where to buy:- http://viralurl.com/Cosmicray/Smart-eLottery
Cheaper ticket entries than anywhere else (14p not £1.50) by
far the most cost effective way of playing the numbers.
Far greater chances of winning the jackpot or any prize.
Secure on-line booking to 133 countries
How would you feel if … you let this chance go? Here’s the deal …
Playing in an e-lottery syndicate for the Euromillion Draw, the odds shift to a slightly (?) more reasonable 1 in 2.118 million chance of sharing the jackpot with their fellow syndicate members — which in this case would net each of them nearly £2.5 million (nearly €3 million) apiece! And that’s all because of the thoroughness of the syndicate system.
Even their chances of winning the lowest cash prize in EuroMillions goes from the “normal” 1 in 39 to better than 1 in 3 for e-lottery syndicates, with their guaranteed “Lucky Star” numbers. I rate this a very good selling point indeed! I won’t pretend I’ve hit the jackpot umpteen times over the last couple of years, but what I have seen is a steady dribble of little prizes that keep on adding up to nice little cheques in the post. Seriously this is the ONLY lottery system that covers all the bases so at the very least take a LOOK and see if you can use your stake a little more wisely and effectively.
And guess what- I don’t even need to make the weekly ticket trek any more.
To your health wealth and happiness
Ray
PS It might just interest you to know that our eLottery system has already pulled in thousands of prizes for members of our various syndicates.
As a newcomer to the Internet Marketing Life, I have had to start learning a whole raft of skills and techniques that were frankly, a foreign language to me a year ago. I have also started to follow my passion for snapping photos of everything that I pass by. I would hesitate to call myself a “Photographer”, it’s just something I enjoy with a passion. Website construction, FTP, panoramic stitching, the strange world of camera raw: these are all new worlds into which I have had to delve.
I am lucky enough to live in a corner of the world called Stanwix. It’s on one of the bits of Carlisle that’s up the hill and away from the floodplain of the R. Eden, so we were fortunate to be spectators to the carnage of the floods 3 years ago. As (allegedly) wealthy and upmarket as Stanwix is supposed to be it’s been very backward in not having a community presence on the web. What better way to combine … learning to drive a website … testing my virtual tours… and … giving something back to a place I really like.
So www.stanwix.info was born. This is my first attempt at developing a useful website that carries good quality content. The framework or template is in place and there is a small amount of original content there, but my hope is that residents and businesses within the area and its surrounds will see some value in the site and literally drive its development.
One of the useful techniques I have learned during this roller coaster year since I fell out of my teaching career and decided to focus on Internet Marketing, has been the almost viral power of on-line press releases. After a rather long break from the press room at Free Press Release.com I finally made it back to this often overlooked marketing strategy. My latest press release is aimed at promoting the Stanwix Community Website is entitled (rather grandly I thought!) Press Release: “>Stanwix Carlisle Gains a Community Web Site
There are many online portals for submitting your press release. All of them follow pretty consistent rules about content, quality and respect for other people’s information. My preference, even though I am UK based is Free Press Release.com The format they present is easy to use, even in the free service and you can buy into their paid service if you want higher placement of your article in the listings. A pretty cool sort of service. Although I am not a traffic superstar yet, the articles posted have certainly increased the click throughs to my Prosperizer website and my Building on a Budget Project.
Well that’s all for now. I’m back to beating m laptop into acceptance of the fact that it has to process 6 image Tiff based panoramic view without crashing!!!!!!!
Well, well, well they have got the beast up and running a little earlier than planned, but the Impact Action Giveaway is open for members! It’s time to pile in and get your goodies. Even though there have been masses of giveaway events this summer there will still be little gems you haven’t hoovered up yet that are great to get your business trucking.
http://impactactiongiveaway.com/members.php?id=153
Thanks to Mieke Janssen, you can see a list of all ongoing JV Giveaways here: http://www.newjvgiveaways.com/events
On a very different note, it is another huge rollover for both the Euromillions and UK National lottery it seems like they’ll be well over £50M and £14M GBP respectively: and there’s only one way to tackle such a mighty statistical beast! That’s by joining a syndicate and spreading your chances of picking up some lucky numbers.
There are many small scale syndicates out there but the only one where the numbers have been worked to the MAX! is VWD’s eLottery system which not only brings the odds down from ridiculous to something imaginable, but also includes an ingenious multiwin system. As well as joining as a player you can easily end up playing for free, simply by getting 5 others to sign up under you. Beyond that again there is a real business building system which is making many people pretty wealthy. VWD have been on the go for over 6 years now, so they are no fly by night operation. So join in and turn the odds a bit more in your favour.
Rollover draws always attract many new players, and these are big ones: Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £55 million QUADRUPLE ROLLOVER, and Saturday’s UK Lotto jackpot is an estimated £14 million DOUBLE ROLLOVER! Even shared out between your fellow members, if your e-lottery syndicate is the sole EuroMillions jackpot winner on Friday, EACH of you will be millionaires, walking away with over £1.5 million apiece… and in Saturday’s UK Lotto draw, each of you will be released from worry with a life-changing amount in excess of £286,000 apiece!
If you signed up now, for either or both syndicates, you could really grow your business this week, and you may like to start playing in more syndicates yourself!
The only thing to be said here is that it really is… “the smarter way to play!”
